Cookie policy: what your browser keeps here
Last updated: October 29, 2026

Omega.one sets no cookies. A few small values may be kept in your browser's local storage, so the tools and the games reopen where you left them and the glossary offers a way back to the letter you last opened; they stay on your device.
Cookies
Omega.one sets no cookies. There are no analytics, advertising, tracking or social media cookies on any page, and no cookies from third parties, because the site loads no third-party content. For that reason the site shows no cookie banner: there is nothing to accept or refuse.
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks the browser to store and then send back with every later request to the same site. Cookies are commonly used for sign-in sessions, shopping carts, audience measurement and ad targeting. Omega.one needs none of these, since it has no accounts, no shop, no analytics and no advertising.
What the site stores in your browser
To make the tools easier to use, the site may keep a few values in your browser's local storage. Local storage is a small space in the browser that a website can write to and read from on your own device. Unlike a cookie, its contents are not sent to the server with each request. The values stay on your device, are never sent to a server and contain no personal data. They are plain numbers and letters, readable only by pages on omega.one in the same browser:
- omega-slippage: the inputs and settings of the slippage calculator (pool or order book, order size, pool depth, size per price level and the gap between levels), saved when the page opens and each time you change them. Kept until you clear your browser data.
- omega-glossary: the last letter you opened in the glossary. Kept until you clear your browser data.
- omega-fill: the best score reached in each scenario of Fill the block. Kept until you clear your browser data.
- oq: and oqc: keys: the attempts on today's puzzles, the streak and its shield in the daily puzzle, one small record per day played. Kept until you clear your browser data.
The dark pool midpoint simulator on the dark pools guide stores nothing. Each time the page loads, it starts from its default values.

How to remove them
You can delete these values at any time by clearing the site data in your browser settings. In most browsers this sits under privacy or site settings, where data can be cleared for one site or for all of them. A private or incognito window discards local storage when it closes, and some browsers block it entirely.
The site works the same without them. The calculator simply opens with its default inputs, the glossary opens at the letter A, the game forgets its best scores and the daily puzzle starts each day without a streak. Nothing else changes: every guide, table and diagram reads the same with local storage on or off.
Clearing the values on one device does not affect any other device, since nothing is synchronized between them. Each browser keeps its own copy, or none.
Server logs
Server logs are not cookies, but they are the only other record a visit leaves. The hosting provider keeps standard access logs (IP address, date and time, browser and the page requested) for a limited time to keep the site secure and working. They are not used to identify or profile visitors, as described in the privacy policy.
Changes
If the site starts storing anything else, this page will list it first. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last updated. The terms of use cover the rest of how the site may be used.
Short answers
Cookie questions
Does Omega.one use cookies?
No. Omega.one sets no cookies at all: no analytics, advertising, tracking or social media cookies, and none from third parties, because the site loads no third-party content. That is also why it shows no cookie banner, since there is nothing to accept or refuse.
What does Omega.one keep in local storage?
Four kinds of small value, kept in the browser's local storage. omega-slippage holds the inputs and settings of the slippage calculator, omega-glossary the last letter opened in the glossary, omega-fill the best scores in Fill the block, and keys starting with oq: and oqc: the progress and streak in the daily puzzle. All of them stay on the device and are never sent to a server.
How is local storage different from a cookie?
A cookie is sent back to the server with every request to the same site. Local storage stays inside the browser and is only read by the page itself, on the same device. Omega.one uses it only so that the calculator and the games reopen where they were left and the glossary offers a way back to the letter last opened.
How do I delete what Omega.one stored in my browser?
Clear the site data for omega.one in the browser settings, usually under privacy or site settings. A private or incognito window discards local storage when it closes. The site works the same without the values: the calculator opens with its default inputs.
Will Omega.one add cookies later?
If Omega.one ever starts storing anything else in the browser, the cookie policy will list it before it applies, and the edition date at the top of the page will change. As of October 29, 2026 the list holds only the four kinds of local storage value described above.
